A Few Words from a Girl who Sings but can't Speak.
Alot of you might've been noticing that I haven't uploaded any drawings in a long time. There's a reason for this. Drawing will always be my favorite way to express myself, but right now I'm pretty focused on making physical objects.
I'm sick of being on the computer, it makes me feel detached from my work, so I've decided to get back to being hands on. My newfound love for taxidermy has really eaten up all my time sadly, that and enameling.
I'm getting very involved in indie crafts, and a friend and I will be hopefully be doing some indie craft shows this holiday season. I also will be selling my novelty taxidermy, taxidermy jewelery, and enameled jewelery on etsy at [link] I encourage everyone to check out my work there. I wish all my watchers well, and I hope you support me in my new direction- it's really helped me come back from the edge with my art, and start enjoying things again. Thank you!

It's true, yesterday was my birthday, I celebrated by drinking and going to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with my boyfriend. Doesn't get much better than that!

I hit 100 Deviations yesterday, which is exciting, thanks to everyone who's supported my work thus far. I'm trying to solidify my style, but I'm kinda ADD about things, and can't pick just one thing, I should be used to the fact that my work is just all over the place as far as style goes. But I feel I've improved alot over the last year. Anyway, thanks again to everyone who's supported me, and here's to 100 more!

Okay, Just so you guys know I had a weird urge to upload some of my poems from the past two years um.. so yeah now you can enjoy my awful poetry at your lesiure! It's not good. They dont really have a catergory that I think fits my poems so most of them are in the general>open cat. I would describe them as confessional, macabre ballads with a little hint of experimental thrown in there for the brashness.

But no worries, you'll see more art from me soon. I wont make a habit of uploading poetry,I know alot of you hate it.

I'm going through some rough times artwise right now,
My BFA thesis is killing me, as I'm doing my thesis on androgyny in fashion and how it has become more acceptable through the means of fashion trends, amongst other things, for women and men to not need to dress or act as is stereotypically considered masculine or feminine. It's kind of an intense thesis, and though it is interesting for me, I'm no fashion expert. I'm merely an artist with something to say. I don't feel though that even though I'm an artist, that I have a right to really be talking about these issues at all. Just because I can draw doesn't give me a right to be making social commentaries. I struggle with that constantly.

In other things, I'm still working on my comic on my own time, but it's turning out to be a bit too tragic i think. I might stop and resume it later when I'm feeling a bit better.
I'm basically just practicing piano and doing some stuff for my band, once we've got some stuff recorded I'm sure I'll link it up here.
